New conspiracy theory -- it somehow got leaked that Johnny would win, hence all of the heavy betting that pushed Gaudreau up to 7:5 odds. NHL didn't like that so they asked Alfredsson to announce the award, hoping it would sway some of the action to the least likely finalist (Stone) and not make it so obvious which of the three finalists will inevitably win (Gaudreau).

Oh well, Gaudreau has the skills to contend for the Art Ross one day. I don't think it'll be too much longer before he's a PPG+ guy and has the trophy in his sights if everything goes right for him.
Stone? Nope. Enjoy the only trophy you'll ever get Stone. I wish you success in your FOURTH upcoming NHL season.

Whew, good thing that Ted Lindsay guy wasn't a player. Smaller than Gaudreau? He would have died as a player in that era....

I will forever hate Stone if he wins it. I can live with Ekblad, but if Stone wins I will.... probably make an angry post on CP...

We need Hartley on the blue line since he's the biggest guy of the bunch.

HockeyDB has Lindsay listed as 5'8", 163 lbs. I guess that puts Johnny officially over the 6 foot mark.
