I wish I knew. However, my guess is you'll see the Twins with Vrbata tonight. Dynamite.

Exam scheduled 7-10 tonight. I won't be the only one scrambling to get it done in under an hour.

Just a couple random thoughts heading into this game:

1) I sure hope the goal from Monahan on the pp gives that line a bit of jump into this game. For those guys, its their first playoff experience, and hopefully that goal breaks the ice for them mentally and they start to get hungrier now to put the puck in the net. With those guys, they always seem willing to try and set someone up to take the shot, they just haven't been wanting to take the shot :P

2) My gut tells me the Canucks will try to draw on their 'playoff experience' from years past to help them win this game. And by that I mean try to draw penalties from the Flames just at the end of plays so the refs only catch the Flames players possibly retaliating. As the saying goes, they may not always catch the first person but they will definitely catch the second. Its up to the Flames to play punishing hockey during the play, but not engage in too much after the whistle. A true sense of the Flames character might be on display tonight (both good or bad).

3) The Canucks will come out flying in the first period... and while many say that we need to protect our net, we need to be flying as well. If the Canucks bottle us up in our own end, regardless of how many shots we block or how often we dump the puck back to centre, the Canucks will find a way to put up a couple. Lack is good enough to shut the door if the Flames try to mount a comeback in the 2nd or 3rd... so I say let the Flames take some chances early in the game and try to get out to an early lead, it would really throw off the Canucks huge.

Has Vrbata touched the puck in this series?

You think the Canucks will win three games in a row, two of them in Calgary? Ok buddy read a book
Likely in 7, but I'm not going to change my prediction now.

I think we need to start keeping track of Orange Julias rumours on CP. My guess is that they're correct more often than not. In this case, he certainly was injured last game, but came back to play. Could very well be out tonight.

Yeah, the only times I've noticed Vrbata he's been giving it away or getting rocked.

He scored an empty netter though. Clutch.

No-show(?). As in irrelevant. In that case then I hope you are correct...

Didn't he leave, come back, and leave again? Did he come back again after that? And what did he do when he played? He certainly wasn't a factor.

Monahan scored without touching the puck last game.

The kid is amazing.
