Hopefully Bieska doesn't get suspended. Love watching guys skate around him like a pylon. Also love watching Ferland rattle his cage. The rivalry is so awesome, it's so good to be back in the playoffs!

Hamhuis should get a game. He doesn't even look at the puck, his intent was clear, and inital contact was to the head of Bennett.
Burrows should get a game. The hit to Johnny I can see as borderline ok. The attacking of Russell is where the real problem lies. He engages, has his gloves off and is punching Russell in the head before Russell can do anything.
Bieksa got away with that assault on Ferland, with no penalty so there will be nothing. Which is fine we all want Bieksa in game 4. He is such a tool and always has been.
I have zero faith the NHL gets this right however.

Burrows and Bieksa are both terrible now. I hope they get nothing.
Hamhuis should get at least a game. Blatant headhunting, can't let that go, too obvious.

I didn't like the Hamhuis hit but Hamhuis isn't a dirty player (I don't think he's ever been suspended) so I wouldn't be surprised if he gets off.
I hate the instigator rule so I hope there are no suspension regarding Bieksa or Burrows.
Either way I'm happy if there are no suspensions. IMO it's more satisfying beating the full healthy Canucks lineup. What a series this is turning out to be.

Hamuis - If he has history, he will get suspended. If not, hopefully at least his record won't be spot free. Better be a fine if he is clean.
Bieksa - You know the league will be reviewing the entire altercation. Bieksa deserves to be suspended, but I don't think it will happen. I don't want it to happen anyways - he sucks, and all he does is add gasoline to the Flames.
Burrows - At no time did you see Engelland instigate. He did nothing dirty at the end of the game, and ended up having to fight 2 players. He also took a shot to the face once Dorsett instigated the 2nd fight, looked at the refs, and decided to stick up for himself. Burrows goes and does a dangerous and at best borderline hit, and starts throwing punches before Russell has his gloves off. It will be interesting to see if the NHL rescinds his instigator based on them feeling the pressure from rescinding the Engelland one - but at the same time, these are two different levels of action in my mind.
It will really be interesting to see what the NHL does here. On one hand, they have been trying to reduce fighting and incidents like these. If they don't take a stand now, you can bet that some players (and probably on both sides) are going to test where that line really is drawn now. On the other hand, there just isn't as exciting and emotional of a series now. Many fans from teams who were eliminated from the playoffs have stated that this is the series they will now follow, and fans from other teams in the playoffs are also tuning in now after their games are over.
I personally think Hamuis gets fined, Burrows misses a game, and Bieksa gets off without even a warning.
Also, Bieksa is the worst spot-picker in the league. Ferland can throw them much better than Tom Kostopolous, and as Bieksa suddenly realized to his horror, can absorb them very well too.

He should have been suspended last game and he should be now. Can't let the guy do whatever he wants.
It's so strange to see him turn into such a jerk. I like him a lot, but holy moly he's really turned into a complete idiot in this series.

I like the instigator rule if only to prevent stuff like what Bieksa was doing. We all love guys blowing up and staring a fair fight, but there's no honor in what he did (or Burrows).
Doesn't belong in the game and it needs to be weeded out as soon as possible. That type of thing can do just as much damage as the hit to Bennett, if not worse.
I knew Bieksa was a doosh, but he's an absolute pig out there. I don't care if his replacement is a slight upgrade, he's going to hurt someone and I want him gone.

If you let him off with nothing then he still has no track record.
His record of garbage hockey started at the end of Game 2. That was his mulligan. Enough is enough, he should get a game. Terrible head shot last night.

Borrows totally instigated. I think he realized he'd have to fight because of his hit, either then or later, saw Russell (who wasn't skating at him hard or anything) and decided he may as well go with him, and say "I manned up after my hit", instead of Bollig or Ferland or Engelland later on.

I don't think anybody gets suspended... I think Hamhuis should (that hit to the head was potentually very dangerous) but I have zero faith in ye ol' NHL wheel of justice.

I would be fine if Burrows and Bieksa didn't get suspensions (even though I detest both of them), but I think Hamhuis should.
I know the instigator situation is completely different than Engelland's, but if the NHL were to rescind the call on Burrows, I wouldn't complain about it.

Engelland wasn't an instigator in game 2, so his misconduct for rescinded. Burrows instigated a fight in the last 5 mins, which should be a suspension.

lol uhhh ok. I clearly said I know it's a different situation...and I personally wouldn't mind if Burrows didn't get suspended for being an instigator. If he plays in game four I'm not going to lose my mind like some people.

No hearing scheduled for Hamhuis on the Bennett illegal check to the head, per NHL spokesman.
