It's part of the reason why his shot is praised as a heavy shot... He uses a very flexible stick that gives it more velocity to make up for his small size. But the catch is that the control o his accuracy is brutal.

I kind of hope the Stars taking similar shots to Spezza's burns them a bit. I'm as pissed at Hiller as anyone, but they're clearly just going for similar shots to try to catch them, and I hope it gets Hiller more comfortable and wastes opportunities on their part.
