I don't even subscribe to Centre Ice and agree that it's pretty bush league for Shaw to consider the game to be "available" in Calgary because it's airing on Sportsnet Pacific.

The least Rogers could have done was put the game on SNW once the Oilers debacle ended.

Cable companies are the worst, some of the younger guys on my hockey team laugh and call me "old man" for having a satellite and dealing with these kinda things

Yeah, I get those examples but cue isn't what I'd use when speaking of a line. Maybe it's regional or maybe I'm old and just want to rage against the Americanization of our language.

Yeah it s a Shaw problem. With Bell, programs not carried on Centre Ice are included with a Centre Ice subscription. At one time all the Canadiens games weren't broadcast in English so a subscription of RDS was included with Centre Ice.

yeah, North Americans use 'line' instead of 'queue'. Cue means a signal that something should begin, hence 'cue the comeback'.

Each Sportsnet channel outside your region is also available as a pick and pay channel for $2.95 per month. Some friends of mine have both the West and Ontario channel for $4.95 per month.

The lack of HD from Shaw Cable is a big problem especially since Shaw Direct has those channels in HD.

Not necessarily. When told to queue up, I wouldn't think twice about it.

You can't watch hockey on sportsnet pacific ever. It's always blacked out in Alberta or East.

It is the same problem when a Saturday evening game was on FX, it was not available on Centre Ice. Games that are on Sportsnet 360 are also not available on Centre Ice. The regional Sportsnet channels getting national games when not all four of those channels are showing is cunning and deceiving by Rogers.

So ridiculous how much hooking and interference the Kings get away with because they're the better team. So brutal

That is not true. You have to subscribe to that channel individually or as part of a package. The regional Canucks games will be the only thing blacked out on the Pacific channel if you live outside the Canucks region. Here in British Columbia, the West, Ontario, and East channels will only be blacked out when the Flames, Oilers, Leafs, and Canadiens are playing.

well that is better for sure, but some of the online options are pretty amazing...you can call them grey market or whatever but either provide a reasonable service or people will turn to these sites. These companies need to know they don't have us by the short and curly's anymore.

Lost track of the shots in the second. They seemed to get out of hand again though.

Oilers and Coyotes are now tied (Yotes stay ahead due to ROW).

One more point in the standings, and the Oilers move one step further away from McDavid and Eichel...and one more point is probably all it will take since the Yotes are that bad (although, looking at the Oilers' remaining schedule, one point might be too much to ask).
