No confirmation yet but the speculation was that Hudler was coming in for Wolf and that was the only expected change.

Yeah, I really had no problem with anything you said. My comment wasn't directed at you.
It wasn't anger so much as surprise, and I was irrationally territorial (I even said how irrational it was), so it wasn't really justifiable from my own perspective so there wasn't really a need to make me understand that. However, as much as some people can't wait to humble others, it wasn't necessary in this case.

These guys are a big possession team surprisingly. Gotta just keep possession equal or so and get good goaltending. Flames can win.

Cali... what you are doing is a thankless job, and we all appreciate what you are doing forsure! The GDT writeups are fantastic and the detail is always there. Unfortunately in this social media world, there are people who like to jump on others when opinions are brought up that don't coincide with their own. Especially when they feel like they can do it from the comfort of their own computer.
I would just like to say this... as Cali is putting in a TON more effort than anyone else doing these writeups, I think he should have a signficant say in the polling situation. If he feels that polls will ultimately distract people from his work that he puts out for us each game day, then he should be entitled ot that opinion. Never will we reach a state where all people are 100% satisfied, but I think we can all agree that the writeups that Cali do are fantastic and it would suck to lose them. If people want to see polls for each game day, and Cali doesn't in the GDT, then step up and create a poll thread but respect what Cali is doing for us in the process... it really is a thankless job.

I wonder if it's part of their development to watch the game live and get feedback/ask questions, be a part of the team in the locker room and practice with the big club, watch how the NHL players prepare, etc.
Plus if there's any injuries they're ready to step in.
Lastly it's a reward for playing well on the farm. They get paid NHL salaries pro rata when they're taking up a roster spot.
That's my guess anyways.

I've actually started reading the game day threads since CFF took on the task. There is far more hockey talk and less everybody trying to predict the score. Anyways if the poll cuts down on these useless posts, I don't mind them.
