Anyone else kinda disappointed that the team shakeups (for this and the last few seasons, it seems) don't really seem to shake up any of the teams?

Yeah, so not surprised that red lost. At all.

That was a hella sweet blindside, though. Also kinda seems that telling everyone on your tribe that you are a massive, huge fan of Survivor is kinda like painting a target on yourself.

Yeah, for a huge survivor fan and know it all for all things survivor, he misses the fact that flaunting that information isn't a good thing at all, kinda funny. Some can get away with it, like Cochran, but when you're tall, attractive, fit, and finically successful, you're already a big threat.

I almost can't watch Survivor tribal councils anymore because of their damn hard-on for the cliche waterphone sounds. It gets used about 50 times each tribal council.

I agree, at least when they do school-yard pick the teams are similiar physically.

Domination by the blue tribe, going to see some one sided challenges for a bit. Max talked his way off the game. I can't believe these so called 'survivor super fans' who act like they have never watched the show. Don't brag about being a super fan, don't be annoying, never talk about WANTING to go to tribal and never say you feel comfortable.

How does he not know any of this?

Makes me wonder if Shirin will go all crazy knowing she is next on the block, I don't think she is capable of playing this game socially.

I'll admit I don't watch Survivor that often. This is probably the third or 4th season I have ever watched (first being the first one).

Do they ever do more "intellectual" competitions as opposed to physical ones? Or is the Red tribe doomed?

They usually have a puzzle portion to a lot of the challenges.

That was probably the worst outcome of an episode of Survivor ever... a one-sided swap and manouvering that portents to a dominant position post-merge. Unless the next time Red loses they eject Kelly I see little to stop the former Blue Collars from running roughshot.

Shirin is very extroverted and would need someone to talk through scenarios with. I think she also needs sounding boards to talk through her social anxiety. I expect no one will be willing to be that person and next episode will see Shirin whither away socially.

I find it funny that as Survivor wears on the more attractive some of the girls become.

Then the hot one gets kicked off and you look at the next hot one and you are like "Yeah.... hottttiiieeee!!!!" till she gets kicked off then you are left with Rupert and not sure what to do.

That was a decent episode. Though the throwing of the immunity was painful to watch.

The look on Rodney's face was pretty priceless at Tribal, too.

Look on Rodney's face was GOLD. Hate that little punk. Good episode, though I was sad to see it down to my two favourites. Glad my pick survived though.

Glad Joaquin is gone... that guy screws up the game for everyone he's around. The obvious move with a player like Sierra was to align with Joe & Sierra and take out the tribe with numbers. Just a never-ending series of bad moves with that guy.

Rodney is like the freaking King Bro. He fulfills that stereotype in every single way. I don't mind him, because he's certainly entertaining.

That was so painful to watch Mike try to throw the challenge. It must be frustrating to try to lose and still not be able to do it.

Dan is a trainwreck. "Hey, sorry for being a dick to you... now just shut up, sit back, and let the boys handle this one."

Joe got lucky there IMO. He's good at challenges but doesn't seem to have much social game going on.

Rodney will kill himself with his mouth. Problem is a strong team may want to take him to final 3 because he is basically a goof no one would vote for.

Things are really gonna get interesting now.

I also really liked this immunity challenge.

I have to admit I'm a bit surprised that so few folks have put much effort into finding idols before this. Seems like there's gonna be a rush to hunt for them now.
