Of course he didn't, but still something that should be corrected. Not the best choice of words.

At the halfway point, #Flames are on pace for 22 fights, which would be their lowest total ever and two less than they had in 1986 playoffs.

When something like this happens, nobody is ever happy. I wish Grats all the best with whatever adventure is next on his journey.

didn't read the whole thread so sorry if this is repetition but I feel like he's better than Bollig is. Too bad it's not Bollig getting sent down and McGrattan hanging around.

####!

I knew it would happen. I know it's best for the team. But it's still a sad day.

I will still rock my game worn McGrattan jersey with pride! Brian, wherever your journey takes you, please come back to Calgary! On or off the ice. You've got a fan for life.

Sad day for everyone. Except Canucks fans

Wish Mcgrattan the best in all his future endeavours. Hope he can get into coaching, scouting, addictions councelling or whatever suits him as I think he still has a lot to offer the game. He is a class act and will be missed.

Flames should give him a position as special assistant to Craig Conroy.
