I agree about the goaltending, definitely a strong point, but that was point.....no one is running away with scoring race because its a very balanced team offensively and they can burn the opposition with 4 lines rolling.

Yeah, the depth is pretty even keel. I'd like to see a few guys rise up and take the reigns a little. With the way Thessien and Ortio are going, we can afford to not have a true scoring line.

3 points behind Utica, they have 4 games in hand.

Frustrating......if we'd just split the six games with them we'd be 9 points up on them instead of 3 points behind them.

It's more than quieter mid-week, weekday games are downright empty all across the minor leagues. The Flames actually have decent attendance numbers for the year and have been drawing quite big crowds on the weekends. They just seem to have a great deal of weekday home games I find.

Some nice praise from Huska about Poirier's development. Saying he's getting more responsible and making good decisions compared to his earlier game.

Yes, about 1/4 of the schedule is weekday games. They have 20 weekday games (M-Th) out of a 76 game schedule.

Looking at the Comets schedule, they have 21 weekday games and the Amerks have 18, so it doesn't look like the Flames are unique in anyway.

I actually looked back to Abbotsford's schedule last year and they had 16 weekday games in 2013-14.

Maybe that is why it seemed like there was so many this year

love seeing him wear #3 and saw a lot of it in the highlights - including a great drive to the net to open up a goal for the next guy. He is a good skater...
