Flames plays much better when they are skating. Unfortunately Dubnyk played well also. If they keep skating like the first period, i have. no doubt they will win this game.

Kypreos, Oates, and Hrudey all think that highstick should be worth more than just 4 minutes. Would make more sense to hand out game misconducts or worse for careless stickwork that results in injuries like that.

Frickin' Dubnyk is 6-1-2 in his last 9 games against the Flames. No wonder he got the start tonight.

I agree fully Zack Kassian got supplemental discipline when he broke Gargne(sp) jaw.
Edit. That reckless stick cost him 8 games.

Ovechkin looks like Richard Kiel in Happy Gilmore with his moustache.

Soon to be 6-2-2, so long as the Flames keep doing what they're doing.

I was really drunk at a Royals/Ams game a couple years ago and was sitting behind the penalty box and Shinnimin had beef with the whole team, and the crowd.
I heckled him that he'd never sniff the NHL and that he'd be a career ECHLer.
I'm happy for him that he proved me (drunken me, anyway) wrong.

Flames just need to cash on one of these and they will get 2 or 3 more.

So many chances for the Gaudreau/Granlund/Hudler line.
Awesome pass by Jooris to start that play.
Edit - Looks like Jooris is seeing some time on that line.

Another great shift. Good extra effort by Jones and Wideman.
