Keeping in mind Brian Burke's philosophy on size regarding hockey, what's going to happen here?
I'd hate to see the Flames throw him away, but how do you keep 2 guys under 5'9" 170 lbs?

Ask Montreal, they seem to be doing ok.

He can't play big either. Let's face it, he plays big for a small guy. Not big by NHL standards.
I like Byron as much as the next guy, but we looked ridiculously small and weak tonight, and something needs to be done about that at some point. Speed and tenacity will not make up for everything.
That said, replacing Jones with a guy that adds something would help too. Or replacing Stajan with a stronger guy. Byron is not the only weak spot in that sense.
Besides, McDavid and all that

So disappointed that I missed this game, had to work. Super excited. Couldn't believe when I was looking at the stats that Raymond scored s hat trick and Colborne got 3 assists

I mentioned this in the GT but I can't believe we played hardball with Byron.
He is always so consistent and one of our better players. No matter how crappy we look, Byron always looks good.

Fayne looked worse the Oktober which is surprising.
Poulliot doing what got him chased out of New York a stunningly bone headed penalty late in the third and some stunningly bad defense.
Yak gets pretty much benched in the third, but didn't look all that interested without the puck.
Scrivens was Scrivens he'll have some very good games, but over a full season as a starter, with that defense he's going to struggle.
Oktober is done, he doesn't have NHL calibre skating anymore.
Hall looked like a complete fish out of water on that last goal.
Schultz is a total liability when the puck crosses their blueline.
Eakins looked confused and stunned.
