Johnny is lucky that he didn't get plastered at the end of the period when the puck was passed in his direction just inside the Jets blue line. It could have been ugly.

Guy must've had a rough childhood. But I suppose now he's a millionaire so he gets the last laugh?

Yup I like Raymond much better than Setoguchi.. Lame shot attempt by him on the ice there blocked by the stick..

You going to hold every player to that standard or just the ones you don't like?

Raymond looked good, Gaudreau with some nice plays, Bouma blocking shots like a boss. Hiller with some good saves.

No rest for this host on this Jets broadcast. No desk intermission stuff at all.

Not to derail the thread, but I'd say there is a bit of a difference with "sharing something that is clearly illegal" and "change the channel". Exploiting a crappy software product from Shaw by changing the channels is a bit different that links to illegal sites.
Back to the game: not a bad period, but certainly not the best period of this pre-season for the Flames. Out shot, out hit, lost most of the faceoffs. Won the fight though...

1st period highlights. For those that can view webms, let me know if this is something you'd like me to continue (for away games at least).
