I wonder how much Budweiser pays to be the pennant winning party beer.

As someone currently living in KC. I really hope KC takes it. The city is crazy right now. Reminds me of the red mile.

Anyone watching the game right now? I know the Flames are playing but there's nothing better than October baseball.

Anyways Shields had rough 1st inning, Pence hit a 2 run home run and somehow a guy wearing a full Marlins bright orange get-up with a sideways visor managed to get the best seat in the entire park behind home plate and its all i can look at.

And now a bases loaded walk. Sheesh that ball 3 was a big call.

Royals get 2 on none out, bases loaded two out and get nothing. Giants come right back and are about to put it away. Giants just getting it done again.

Also, what in the holy hell is up with the Marlins guy behind home? One of the funniest things ever really in terms of making no sense.

Edit: And he's sitting next to rapper Tech N9ne just to make it even better.

Giants are 31-11 in October since 2010, vs the best teams in baseball.

Big inning for KC has the Royals right back in the series. I don't understand Bochy's confidence in Strickland.

That Strickland sure is a hothead.

That fatass behind homeplate with the "Strange Music" t-shirt on signalling pitches was really annoying.

There is nothing like playoff baseball (other than playoff hockey). It's like a different game (like playoff hockey).

I've been very impressed wit Harold Reynolds as a commentator.

Giant fans complain about Joe Buck (his day job is with the Cards) but I don't mind him.

Royals have to bat a pitcher in SF - does Butler come out?

Royals now up 2-1 in the series with a big 3-2 win in SF tonight.

Do the Giants go back to MadBum tomorrow now?

Good game. Giants really need to win game 4, but will be tough with Vogelsong starting. I don't know if he has one more big win left in him. The Royals are well suited for playing at AT&T.

Bumgarner would likely pitch games 5 and 7.

Bumgarner could go Game 4 and then Game 7 on three days rest each but no way will he be able to start games 5 and 7. Start Game 5 and be available for relief in Game 7 sure, but starting both would be crazy. Some speculation that he will indeed be starting tonight which makes sense, down 3-1 with only one more start from him is probably series over.

Kershaw pitched on 3 days rest, but that didn't work out too well for LA.

A rain-out would help.

Bochy should start Petit in a game. Do it tonight.

A bit of luck for KC in the 3rd. Buster hits the base stealer, then two infield hits. 1-1.

Might see Petit soon.

Infante delivers two out bases loaded single. 3-1.

Giants in big trouble now if they can't get the bats going.

Good luck and a really terrible play by Vogelsong. He wasn't even close to first on that one. Appears to be verging on meltdown territory too, Bochy should have a quick hook tonight.

Possibly a series changing mistake by Vogelsong. From out of the inning to down 2 runs and only 3 more innings before the Royals get into their awesome pen.
