Boohoo Edmonton and suck it Chris Jones. Get used to finding different ways to lose.
Side note, great to see the Stamps back to the red pants on the road as opposed to the black stripeless leotard they used to (and still do at home) wear.
Back to ditching the black helmets on the road as well, next.

If any of those injuries to the line are serious just give him a new number and play him at guard

Last game defense won the game for Stamps. This game special team won it for them, then defense clamped up late in the gam. So, who got the best defense again? Eskies D 0 INT, 0 sack, Stampeders D 1 INt, 2 or 3 sacks???

It's understandable though, that's getting close to "moving out of Edmonton" kind of money.

3 sacks for Stamps (Smith, Hughes, Bishop III). Somehow CFL.ca has Odel Willis with a sack, i don't remember that at all.

I bet you the person who won the 50/50 is a Calgary Stampeders fan.
Looks like we got some banged up players tonight. We lost RB Matt Walter(might be concussion), C Brent Jones, OG Branden Craighead, R Nik Lewis looks like he was limping, DB Brandon Smith got hurt too but he came back. DE Shawn Lemon also was banged up.

I don't understand why people would miss most of the first half to stand in a lineup for a lottery. Then again, I don't understand why people play the lottery, period. Might as well go flush your cash down the toilet.

the funny thing is the higher it goes the lower your chances of winning...yet people go all crazy about the higher numbers
300k isnt that much money these days its not life changing...most people would buy a vehicle or two and blow the rest and have nothing to show in a few years.
and yeah go stamps! they thought they were so great and we beat them missing top guys

Could that have been when Tate gave himself up on the first down play towards the end?

“@DarrenWHaynes: Here's context. Nik Lewis' streak of 166 games with a catch, which ended tonight, began in 2004, 13 days after the Flames game 7 loss to TB.”
“@DarrenWHaynes: That first pass Lewis caught on June 20, 2004, was thrown by Marcus Crandell -- with Matt Dunigan as Stamps head coach. Those were the days.”

Actually to special teamers. This is the best game ST played for a long time.
Defense were solid too and the OLine actually played well but Bo and the receivers just couldn't execute.

The Stamps now have more points (8) in four games than the entire eastern division has (6) in fourteen games combined.
...and that's without our MOP running back, best receiver and a rookie QB.

So, wait. The winner of that 50/50 got $350k? As in, the total pool was $700,000? Is there even that much money in Edmonton?

They said that the 50/50 from the last game went unclaimed, so it rolled-over to this game.
Edmonton seems to get a lot of big 50/50 jackpots in general. IIRC, the one at the Canada-US New Year's Eve game during the World Juniors was over a quarter million too.
Last season, the Oilers didn't have a 50/50 under $45,000 in the regular season, and even their preseason ones were over $30,000.

No, everyone is on welfare in a Edmonton. There are no good jobs there. There is no prosperity whatsoever, in any part of the city.

Not sure what everyone elses thoughts are on this are, but it seemed last night Mitchell started to get things together when they switched centers.
The starting centre, Jones?? lobs softballs back there that mitchell usually has to reach down to catch. Once the second guy took over, Levertu? He snapped the ball back right into Mitchells hands with authority and it seemed like Mitchell was reading the field way better since he didn't have to look down to catch the ball.
I wonder what the record for fewest passing yards in a win in the CFL is anyways.
