A good coach could turn around the Caps. Oats was terrible. I could live with McPhee being hired as GM but he will have to do a better job at finding solid head coaches. Outside of Wilson (not sure if he even technically hired him) and Boudreau he hired some real stinkers.

They cant hire a good coach because the good coaches wont let Ovechkin score 60 and he will suck. Hunter was a good coach

It's not like the Caps were lights out with him as coach. I wouldn't call him a tested and proven NHL head coach and he seemed a little too old school in his approach.
