Really liked the movement on that PP. So many teams just stand around on a 5-on-3, I don't get why.

I'd love to be in that building right now.

It looks like an absolute madhouse in there.

Gotta wonder about Martin getting the start in game 3. Unlikely, I know, but, San Jose is really exploiting Quick.

that powerplay is an embarrassment of riches in the puck possession department.

Kinda sucks cheering for a team with Torres on it, but for some reason I am.

What a collapse by the Kings.

Yeah if you have confident puck carriers, there are so many opportunities to create chaos and force the PK to make decisions. A lot of teams will simply pass around the puck in a fixed configuration and the chaos only begins after the initial shot when the puck bounces around.

You know you've got a damn good (deep) team when Joe Pavelski is playing on your third line. He'd be the best player on probably half of the teams in the league.

I took the Sharks to win it all in my pool, and although it was risky I am liking it so far.

The Sharks are looking like the Bruins of the west. I don't know if anybody will be able to beat these guys.

A big part of it is luck.

If San Jose can sweep this series, they greatly enhance their chances. Just look at the Chicago/St.Louis series. Whoever comes out of that one is going to have a half-empty gas tank before the next series even starts.

In that regard, Anaheim's got the right cards right now.

It's probably too soon to say the Sharks are going to have an easy road. The Ducks, Blues, and Avalanche are all looking really good right now, and I won't even say the Kings are done until they lose one at home. LA has let a few periods get away from them, and things could easily change if they figure out how to shut the Sharks down at home.

its tough to say since the teams aren't directly in competition but I would say SJ is the early team to beat. Putting up this kinda offence against the Kings!
