I like how the first two teammates to give Corban a hug were his linemates McGrattan and Hanowski.

This team is very easy to like. Love the work effort even if we would have lost 3-2. They worked their butts off.

This is not a lottery pick team. We're not getting Ekblad/Reinhart/Bennet

I'm not worried about that (coaching, as posted a bit above) one iota. Burke really backs Hartley, especially based on the 'tanking' comments.
The GM Burke hires will NOT want Hartley gone. He's one of the good guys. Makes many more good guys on the ice.
Hartley is solidly in Burke's corner for this iteration of the rebuild. In the later stages, when we are pushing for a spot, who knows?
Confidence in the coach is what this team has. He has a quietness (Van brawl) and more, and yet plenty of pugnacity and tough love (Sven, Backlund). Players really respect that. He knows a bit about which buttons to push and when.
I'm seeing that unfold with this young team, and I hope he is on our side for the near future at the very least.

Great win, this team is starting to build character.
In relation to the GIF's, I love them for the most part, but those of you who posted borderline Pedo GIFS, you are the minority in this forum if the girls in those GIFs are of legal age to you. Please don't trash up the forum with that stuff. We don't think it's cool.
Theres always 4Chan for you to go look at underage girls on... blow your wad there.

It was fun. That's what we signed up for.
I mean, that OT had me off my seat several times. Gio rocket from the top of the circle to Monahan dragging it out patiently from behind the net to set up a play. You could tell, he waited and found zilch, and then quickly darted around to set up a pass.
MacDonald too with a nice traffic save or two in front. He let in a softie or two maybe, but he sure showed up when it counted.
It's called team effort when they gut out wins or even lose. Win or lose. Hartley and Burke really are establishing a team identity here.
Anaheim comes in and are shell shocked. Go into Dallas, they are the same when the tent and lawn chairs should be folded up. Add to that, the amazing overtime and shoot out (which I'll never be a fan of), and you have a group of players who really want to win.
Maybe they lay an egg in Phoenix, who knows? It won't be for lack of trying. Watch a few other teams near or at the basement and you will see a difference. But they are what they are. The Flames are establishing their own identity and that is all they care about.
Nice to see Vancouver get demolished by the same team, but it's really no benchmark. Just a nice little feather in the Flames' hats who worked extremely hard and never gave up. Hartley is getting that engrained in them. Good on him. Good on them too.
Our pick will land where it may. I don't much care about that.

just another great game and a great comeback.
Tip of the hat to: MacDonald, Brodie, Colborne, Cammalleri and Glencross - oh, and Byron and Backlund, as usual.
How many times have they come back from a two goal deficit this year?

Incredibly loose group right now. There's no pressure and guys seem to sense there's opportunities to be had.

Just wow, saw the first two periods befire I had to go to bed, expecting a loss but keeping it close, I get up this moring and we pulled a 4-3 comeback Big time happy.
The flames were creating all sorts of excitement in the Dallas end, they weathered the first period push from the Stars and showed some real character. The lines look pretty balanced right now, even with Glencross on the 4th line. Backlund is just turning out to be a fantastic player, he is all over the ice, creating chances, blocking shots, just love him as a player.
Biggest laugh of the night was watching Mcgratton try and dipsy doodle his way through the Stars D with about 3 mins to go in the first. He is no finesse player but it was so funny watching try, he seems to have all sorts of confidence right now. Is he our new power forward

[PGT] Comeback Kids 4 - Dallas Stars 3
To those hoping for mcgrattan to get a chance in the shootout tonight... Be patient. This was not the right time.
The flames will go to the shootout against Winnipeg in the last home game of the season. The crowd chants his name theo-style until Hartley picks him as the 5th shooter. Mcgrattan finally wins it for the flames... The dome goes crazy and the flames salute the crowd for the last time this season with the crowd chanting "go flames go!"
Iginla wins the 2014 Stanley cup with boston as well as the playoff MVP.
Flames finish in 6th last place but win the draft lottery despite slim odds. Analysts across the NHL call it divine intervention from the hockey gods rewarding this team for all it's hard work all season long.
If you doubt my ability to foretell the future... Check my prediction before this Dallas game.

Stars commentators are surprisingly even keel, they seem to call the game for the excitement of it, whether it's in the Star's favour or against them. Sounded genuinely excited for the Flames when they tied it. Also made regular compliments about the Flames and individual performances.
Take notes, CBC.

Yeah true. I can see them trying to compete for a playoff spot next year at the rate they're going right now but as you say, than the pressure will be on. Good learning experience either way.

Hartley took a relatively young Avs team and won the Stanley Cup. Hopefully he can repeat the same magic with the Flames in a few years.

And we ended up having to draft that bum, Sean Monahan.
