The Blues rebuilt when they moved out Tkachuk, Guerin, and Weight for picks. They had a few drafts with multiple first and second round picks. And they built their roster through the draft. That is what the Flames have to do, but we're just getting started now because team brass was in a state of denial for years.

The moves they made, and tried to make, was to get better. They just weren't very good at it. Nobody tried to "tank" on purpose..... thats just some sort of weird idea some people here have developed for some reason, and then for some reason think its some sort of new age thing. Makes me hate that team more. Tankers are them and I have ZERO respect for that franchise, especially with hot head behind the bench. Their only redeeming quality is Sakic and I wouldn't doubt if he blows town if they want to tie their horse to Roy. I could see that happening too.
