You know. IF the Flames get the first overall pick this year, they'll be picking 1st and 30th. NJ forfits this years pick IIRC due to the Kovalchuk cap circumvention penalty. It only slide up one spot but that is essentially two firsts. Double Lotto win this year!

If we pick up another first this year for Cammy it will actually be very similar to last year's draft. Pretty much 3 first round picks

Assuming we don't trade our 2nd round pick for the first time in forever*

Stajan leads the team with 669 games. 20 guys have played less than 500 games and 11 have played less than 200. And 5 of the 8 most experienced are not currently in the lineup.

This is not a verteran team. And it is going to get younger next year.
