Good thing we sat Backlund because he was focusing too much on defence.

Colborne instead of Baertschi on the pp is puzzling.

Baertschi's game is made for the pp.

Right? I'm baffled. These guys are so skilled and so hungry. Guaranteed they bury one tonight of given 1st PP unit time.

Need Gio to heal fast but we're going no where with this goalie tandem.

I wonder why TJ is -2 when it was Russell and Wideman on the ice for the 2nd goal? I must be missing something?

That powerplay just isn't working right now ... lots of passing, but nothing productive. When your PP goes 0 for 16, why not change it a bit Hartley? *nudge* Backlund *nudge* Baertschi (up front) *nudge*

My PP would be Baertschi-Backlund-Cammalleri / Russell-Wideman

Are you saying that you support the roster and ice-time decisions? Does it not appear as though the focus should return to defence since two guys were left alone in the slot and it took 5 shots to score twice?

Yeah Hartley! It doesn't take a hockey genius to know you don't tell your players "Leave the other team wide open in front of the net"! Get it together!

I'll be sad if this actually was the zamboni he was on.

Baertschi has a nice looking shot. Looks like he really steps into it and powers through.

I'm not sure if it's a hard shot or not, but it looks hard and seems to create lots of rebounds.

I'd like to see him playing on the half-wall, opening up with that shot off the far pad for the guy(s) in front, where Monahan always seems to be.
