Doug McLean has a look at Sean Monahan from a General Manager's point of view. Well this should be enlightening.

I thought that was an excellent push at the end of the period there. Hope that keeps up in the 2nd.

Looked good in the end, but something's missing with the finals shots on goal. Need quality.

Aside from a few defensive breakdowns, not a bad period by the Flames...

Your post was fine as log of anger. Sportsnet is consistantly dropping turds on us fans, about time they knew what it was like, an angry turd.

It started as a log, but it was so filled with vitriol that it turned into a runny, splashy mess.

Now it's just a lot.

When I watch Sportsnet, I feel I'm watching a bunch of guys who hate the Flames pretend to like The Flames... They need to hire some genuine Flames fans from Calgary to cover this team. I'm sick of watching all these phony people.

I don't know, that was Backlund's guy 5 seconds before he scored. Not sure that's all on Wideman.

Colborne is playing well tonight. Ramo kept us in it with some good saves. The goal? WTF...

Brenden Dillon, #4 of the Stars, is looking like a very good shutdown defender. 6'3", 225lbs. Reminds me a bit of a young Regehr.
