Call me crazy here, but:

Mark Giordano (Captain)
Craig Conroy (Assistant to the General Manager)
Marty Gelinas (Assistant Coach)

.... I suppose those three, all in highly influential positions, don't count?

Wasn't he sort of on the team the next year but never played? That would include Glencross, Cammallerri, and one game of Mikael Backlund.

Isn't that what internet forums are for or did I miss the announcement that CP was accredited as a source of legitimate hockey news?

So now we have turned on Warriner? Is there ANYONE on 960 that we can all like? I'm almost at the point where I think radio is the most thankless job in the world. Either that or UN Peacekeeper.

I think covering the Flames period is pretty thankless. Flames fans generally aren't very appreciative considering how much access they have today compared a few decades ago.

Glenny is playing like a giant hunk of ####. What more does he need to do to be benched for Horak?

I like Glenny. I do. I just don't like this version thereof. Maybe a healthy scratch would be the shot in the arm he needs?

Guaranteed? Haha.

Link please, it works both ways

For the record, I don't care about the point you are trying to make as much as the link requirement as legitimizing poster opinion. Pfft.

Glencross with two strong plays on the winning goal, including battling to the front o f the net to cause havoc for Brodie's shot. Simmer highlighted his play entering the zone and gathering a bouncing puck and settle things down

We dont win that game without his effort on the winning goal.

Even a broken clock is right twice a day.

Not near enough effort as far as I'm concerned (and I'm a Glencross supporter)

Last nights game:

TOI - 19 minutes
PP TOI - 3:14

0 goals
0 assists
0 shots on goal
0 hits
2 PIM (tripping)

Right now, and I hate to say this, he's one of the few passengers on this team.... when he should be one of the guys driving the bus.

I want Butler and Glencross of the Calgary Flames.

- Glencross has lost his "identity". He was much better when he was trying to be the best he can be. He is not a pure goal scorer, and does not have star talent, and its not even close. His best success came when he was a second/third line hard working, in your face forward. He generated so much from hard work. He now generates nothing and floats around thinking he is good or something. He is a weak link. Get him out of here.

-Butler gives the puck up constantly and is soft as puppy sh**
Get him out of here.

Just wanted to add, Glencross is a team worst -5. He somehow has 2 goals and 2 assists. I don't remember him doing anything so far.

Pick it up GlenX, or we take the name "scoreface" back to the store.

Glencross has yet to convince me he has bought in yet. What is with him slapping his passes constantly instead of nice smooth cradled passes. I have noticed he is doing this constantly and the puck is skipping off the ice and he is making it difficult to receive his passes. There isn't much touch on them most times and his shots are tending to be right at the goalies chest. We are used to him shooting high under the crossbar or getting tips.
So far this season really disappointed with his game period.
What has irritated me the most is his constant pointing at another player to cover this open guy when 9/10 it is his man.
At this point he seems to be 2 strides behind everyone on his line i'm not used to seeing this from him. I figured last season was just because it was a short season alot of players were out of their groove but Glencross's lackadaisical shifts are becoming far to recurring.
When he is failing at both ends of the ice it cause for concern. I would yank him off the pk for sure.

I don't see his heart in the game right now, I don't know if it is the captain thing, rebuild, woman troubles or what but he's just not himself. Why is he not being his aggressive self is any one's guess but if he doesn't get it together soon I would be more than happy to see him moved to make way for younger, more hungry players. We cannot have guys not doing their jobs this year, we are in a rebuild, either jump on ship or get out imo, but don't just go out and float around. We are going to be ugly this year but we should be hard to play against and he has been uber soft this year.

This from a guy who had always liked Glencross
