Have people here played hockey before? Glencross had no fault on the PK.

The idea is for Glencross to take the closer man to the puck, he is easily more dangerous. Forcing the player to make the longer, much more difficult pass cross ice.

This is an exciting brand of hockey so far. How refreshing!

Galiardi showing he should be a shootout choice. That backhand shelf move is the way 75% of shootout goals are scored and we never try it.

I rag on Hartley periodically, but one thing I really like so far after 4 periods of hockey is the forecheck.

Really like the new makeup of forwards, Jones, Galiardi, Bouma. Much more size and speed and aggression on the forecheck.

The unchallenged player closer to the net is the more dangerous player. It's 5 on 4, Glencross needs to position himself to give him a chance to prevent both players from getting scoring chances. It's not easy, I mean that's why PP's are so dangerous, but he can't just leave players unattended like that. At least that's how I saw it...

Backs laying down to block a shot - he's got "compete" so far.

Throw in a little more work on the PK and we might actually be able to hope for more than just 'a good effort'.

Forehand-backhand-up must be the surest move in shootouts.
