That's totally fine, you're a poster I respect here and if you present it this way, that's fine. I do question it though since it would be totally weird for the Bruins to keep the Flames on the hook... the hold up seemed to be Iginla, which would make it the other way round...
Regardless though, if there were ill feelings (and that would be hilariously childish of the Bruins) they're gone since we know each team has been talking recently.

I'd say it was Iginla looking for a one year too.

with him taking up 6 mill on the cap, how do they sign Rask now?
More trades coming?
Edit: I guess they will have the 4mill from Savard as extra LTIR cap space

I would imagine that he gave the Pens a chance to match.
I'm just glad he is staying out east. I can't wait until we play the Bruins.

That's a little bit more relevant to a guy like Komaserik at $700k, not a guy signing for up to $6m. I'm guessing that term was his choice, and it may have something to do with his family situation, if being out east is going to work or not.

About $4M of Iginla's salary will likely be pushed to 14-15 through attained bonuses.

No, not talking about a hold up on the Iginla situation...a holdup all day by the Bruins a week later on actual trade deadline day on another trade.
Regardless, water under the bridge.

Nice to see one of my all-time favorite players joining the Bruins, but kinda weird that it's happening a few months after the trade fell through. He'll look good in the Bruins top 6.

Not really the new Hossa since Hossa made it to the finals in all of his years with the Pens/Wings/Blackhawks.

I wonder if he has a NMC that stipulates that he must submit a binding list of teams in writing.

I know I am in the minority but his respect level keeps dropping for me. He played really well for us blah blah blah but he has been a ###### for the past couple of months.
Hopefully the Bruins don't even make the playoffs now.

The moment he and the Flames agreed on a trade to allow him to chase the Cup, he very much did become a mercenary. Doesn't make the commentary about "losing respect" because he signed with Boston today any less stupid.
