This is such a dead thread tonight. Not like I'm posting in it either but it's a little depressing to look at how the GTs keep getting less and less posts every game this season.

No...i am not pretending I don't know. Carson has his stick on the ice,no goal. Butler properly pressured as part of the rotation.
Don't pretend you are not scapegoating Butler.

LOL how did I know you would use that as a chance to take a shot at Barkov. Yes we know you aren't high on him moon. I agree that he's a little below the top 3 but grouping him with Monahan is kind of a slap in the face.

How odd that TSN recognizes that the Flames aren't a very good team.

How do you know that?
I don't think I have commented that much on him other than to say I thought that MacKinnon was better when one poster used him playing in the SM-Liiga as possible evidence he was better.

Carolina tanking? No kidding. At least the Flames have an excuse given they traded their captain and best defenseman.

I am not scapegoating Butler. I've made similiar comments about Gio, Brodie all year and comment on a lot of players bad and good. You of all people shouldn't use the scapegoat card since your whole existence on CP has centered around one player.
He pinned the wrong guy and kept at him when he was no threat and the puck was with another guy behind the net. Watch the replay again, and if you don't see it then I question your ability to read a hockey play.

No kidding. The Flames defensively have actually improved a lot since the deadline moves. The finish hasn't been there but the team has put forth a pretty good effort night in night out.

OK you are right, I am wrong. I will try to learn how to read a hockey play.
