Cheering for the Canucks makes me feel dirty, but happy to see the Oilers about to fall behind the Blues again.

great pass by Derek Roy

he has had a great debut tonight, might also be the fact that without Kesler the Canucks have been lacking a legit top 6 center after Henrik all season

I hate Kevin Quinn and his whole "I only raise my voice when an Oiler scores" calling style.

Unlikely the Oilers pass the Blues, they have two games in hand never mind the easier schedule

A late one for Kassian. Canucks thump the Oil convincingly 4-0.

sportsnet might want to check their math on those updated standings

First they take one point from the Blues, then they give 8th to the Oilers even though they have played more games

well, 8th for one day - isn't that what the Flames accomplished last year?

It would be funny, and somewhat ironic, if the Flames finish 15th and the Oil finish 9th

He is an absolute embarrassment.

The only positive with him is listening to him come up with excuses why the powerhouse Oilers have lost games for the past 4 years.

Looks like the Oilers are headed for a 9-10th place finish.

Though that's another reason to make fun of them, at least they are showing a little improvement and not being an embarrassment at 30th or 29th again.

Though management takes it upon themselves to make the wrong decision at every turn and absolutely define ineptness, there is enough high end skill in place there to give them a chance at the playoffs in future seasons, just like Iginla and Kiprusoff in their primes always gave the Flames a chance.

interesting though that was pointed out before the game by Canucks pbp

first time in 3-4 years a Canucks/Oilers game had a feeling of meaning to it, than the Oilers no show like the Canucks did on saturday

So...any one down for a STL #19 Bouwmeester jersey group buy?

I've always associated 19 with forwards so its was kind of weird to see Jay with that number. Anyways the Blues won [/post]

Wonder if they'll be able to get more interviews out of Jbo now or if he's going to keep having "equipment failures".
