I can understand some people wanting to go for younger players when drafting/trading for forwards, and maybe even D, but with goalies you need them, to be a little older. I don't think a goalie really comes into his prime until later, there are of course exceptions, and they are more of a crapshoot.

With Ramo and Berra next season we don't know what we are going to get, they could be horse s%$£ or they could be gold. They are both experienced goalies, lets wait and see what they have before we write them off completly just because they haven't taken the 'normal' route.
