"they should have gotten a better deal from Detroit"

"well don't you think they would have had Detroit offered a better deal"

"good point"

overtime is comedy gold

If it wasn't bad enough that we lost, we've got to deal with Oiler fans coming out of their dungeon to crack jokes and thank each others posts.

I guess beating the Flames is an accomplishment worth coming out for because we've absolutely dominated the Oilers in the last 5 years so I understand how much fun beating us must be.

The irony for years we have made fun of the Oilers for tanking and they have made fun of us for finishing 9th

roles reversed this year

Let those morons do what they want.

Their team is still a joke and if this is what makes them happy then so be it,

Luckily as Flames fans we have higher goals (hopefully) than beating the pathetic Oilers.

Did anyone see Backlund play last night? He was playing like he knew someone needed to step up on this team and lead. I loved his play last night.

The Backlund - Hudler - Cervenka line was great.

Or at least looked great against the Oilers...

lol at the lack of interest of a PGT

Brian McGratton was probably our most dangerous (offensive) threat last night. Awesome.

I can't believe I said McGratton was all washed up before we traded for him.

My bad haha.

He was awesome last night. McGratton reinvigorated that 4th line.

Not all that surprising.

With a major trade 30 minutes before puck drop there was very little focus on the game.
