Yeah that's the general idea but booze = cash so it's eased if you pay enough. I always found it pretty easy to get a flask through the less than Fort Knox level security teams.

I've been so impressed with the work that the MSU AD's office has done over the last few years. The marketing has been phenomenal, the stadium experience continues to improve and they continue to be a leader with new ideas and exciting events. I don't know that we'll ever crack that top tier of programs, but it won't be due to a lack of effort.

So jealous. A Bama/LSU game is definitely high up on my list.
Was hoping to do Oregon/Stanford for me and my dad's annual college football trip this year, but decided to do the Orange Bowl instead since I'll be in Miami at that time.

That LSU Bama game this year may be a dud with how strong LSU's schedule is going early

And on it goes....
Quote:
Texas A&M freshman wide receiver Ricky Seals-Jones was one of the most heavily recruited high school players in the nation before he committed to the Aggies last December.
As reported by Dan Wetzel of Yahoo! Sports, Keteyian is speaking out in advance of the book's release by sharing some of the more mind-blowing details from his investigation on the subject, and the news on Seals-Jones is quite shocking.
According to Keteyian (via Wetzel), there's a full chapter in The System devoted to the recruitment of the former Sealy High School star.
Per the report, a "top-20 program" offered Seals-Jones and his family "$300,000 in cash, use of a luxury suite during football season, eight season tickets and $1,000 per month for Ricky and $500 for the family" if he signed their national letter of intent.
The elder Jones took it a step further, claiming that the offer was "a lot higher than that," and that in addition to the $600,000 offer, one ACC and one SEC school offered to double any monetary figure the Seals-Jones family was weighing from another program.
In the end, Seals-Jones and his family rejected all of them "out of principle and the fear of inevitably getting caught."

I went to the Rose bowl last year and the place is boring. UCLA's crowd cheered the loudest, during a break, when they announced Pauly pavillion opening. If you go don't get too far from the field.
Also I went to Tennessee last year and it is just a massive old stadium. I wasn't that impressed with it either. Unless you like hearing "Rocky Top" played every three minutes go somewhere else. Sight lines were decent and the people were super friendly.
If you want to go to crazy loud stadiums, in Pac 12 country, hit Utah and Oregon. BYU doesn't even sell caffeinated beverages so avoid that place.

Manziel suspended for 1/2 of Rice game. NCAA is so ridiculous. They said he received no money, then there should be no suspension.

Is he suspended without pay? Is he not allowed to have orange slices at halftime? Is this the NCAA trolling people? How pissed is Dez Bryant, and Ohio State and blah blah blah. An obviously pathetic ruling.

Isn't it still against rules to sign autographs in bulk knowing they will be sold later? That would explain the suspension.
But half a game! Really???? Either man up and suspend him a whole game or don't do anything. The first half of college football means nothing anyways

I must admit I've never done Utah, but in the PAC 12, the grand daddy of crazy loud has to be Husky Stadium which is probably the jewel of the PAC 12 with the new renos.
Husky Stadium was louder than Centurylink before the renovations and I can't imagine what it will sound like now with the removal of the track and the improved acoustics:
