I was kind of wondering this too... Kipper was getting ran over a lot out there... But then I thought to myself "Why in the hell would they pull Kipper being up only two goals with a whole period left to play." Maybe Hartley seen enough interference and decided to go with Irving to save a injury to Kipper, and if that was the case that's a pretty ballsy move... I'm guessing he does have some sort of injury...
That and if you want your team to have confidence in the backup you have top show some yourself
Were so unlucky after outplaying Chicago and had a point to prove tonight.
Played well in 3 of the last 4 games. Colorado being the blip, but even in that game we were in contention until late in the 3rd.

It's a really sad reality for CP.
I wouldn't read too much into tonight's reaction. I'm sure people are be a little restrained in their celebration since the season may have just gone down the crapper if Kipper is out long term.
Not everyone played well, but they rarely will and it was a very good performance overall. Definitely another encouraging sign as long as Kipper is ok.

Yeah... I know what you mean. None-the-less I'm remain proud of this team for battling, not feeling sorry themselves, not being fragile, closing the game which would make Mariano Rivera proud, and coming out Detroit with a couple of points.

This has got to stop. Common theme. Need a physical/dirty dman to take care of forwards that run our G.

We're comfortable. It's like a coach. After a crappy game, we complain, look at the tapes, criticise everyone, and contemplate bombing for 1st overall pick or whine about Bouwmeester.

No, people like to talk about losses more than wins. It's not just exclusive to this board or Flames fans in general. Canucks radio phone board is a lot busier on nights they lose as opposed to a win. I'd easily say more than double.
Keep hearing about the Flames only having two wins...they also have only 3 regulation losses. Keep it up, couple games in hand on everyone just start winning and they are right there
Iginla seems so much stronger on the puck this year and has a lot more confidence with it as well. I am ok with the lines the way they are but we start rolling three lines rather than have Iginla's line getting the heavy load. Ride the hot line.
We dug ourselves a bit of a hole but I like what I see from this team and think we can make some noise this year. Great compete level which we didn't see a lot at times last year.
