I left Calgary for 2 1/2 years...came back VERY excited for my first flames game in a Loooong time.
....Was dissapointed to hear that all the music (not just the goal song) was exactly the same as when I had left. Like, predictable down to the tune. Cotton Eyed Joe, Black Betty, Same crappy fiddle tune, same 'Make some noise songs', same 'A little less conversation' when a review was going on. It all sucks, and all needs to be refreshed. I think whoever is in charge of ALL the music at the dome should be fired.
I just realized that Flames basically need new everything.
New/Better ice. New arena. New primary jerseys. New goal song/music in general. New blue-chip players. New coaches (done). New front office (recent so done?). New owners.

If they bring back an intro with "Muse - Uprising" again I will be happy. Heck even the wife who isn't a huge hockey fan (likes it but doesn't HAVE to watch it like me) says that intro got her more excited for the game.

I actually loved the muse song, such a good pump up song.. Now people bare with me for what im going to suggest..... I know people have mainly been suggesting older rock songs. However I'm 19 and a little bias towards the hip hop scene... So hear me out, I remember watching the nba finals with celtics afew years back and their entrance song was ayo technology (instramental). I thought it was amazing! It would be cool if the flames incorporated this in there entrance or goal song....
Especially the part where the drum sounds kick in and the drop starts..
Give me some opinions, I know its a "newer and younger" song, but hey its awesome.

THIS is why people make fun of Edmonton. When will this stupid city figure it out? They continue to kick their own ass every day, it's impossible not to make fun of them.
