Great -- with the exception of Labour Day, all Friday night and early Saturday night games. I like it

I think the crowd is more into the game when the lights are on. That in itself is an advantage and from a fan's perspective Friday and Saturday games are far better than thursday games like some teams have.

Really it's all personal opinion but I think having night games at home slightly increases the home field advantage

If only Ed Hervey waited a few more minutes instead of doing a deal 1 minute after the market opened he wouldn't find himself with a fine.

Another joke of a fine! If I was an owner with deep pockets Id try to poach players from other teams who hvae multiple year contracts, go way the over the cap cuz in the end the fines are really nothing.

Hervey is thinking if it works (tampering fines) for the Argos last season, it might work them too. The tampering fines in the CFL is a joke. I am surprised not a lot of teams does it especially after the Argos incident. They paid the small fines for tampering with Defensive Coordinator Chris Jones and Jones helped them win the Grey Cup.

The Canadian Football League and Bell Media's TSN and RDS are proud to announce a broad new multi-platform broadcast agreement that extends their long-term partnership through to 2018.

As part of the extension, TSN and RDS secure exclusive media rights to all CFL pre-season and regular season games, playoffs, the Grey Cup game as well as to the CFL Draft and CFL Combine.
The CFL regular season broadcast schedule expands to 81 games next year in 2014 when Ottawa's new franchise joins the league. The CFL will also see additional games broadcast in French with more games being broadcast on RDS2.

In addition to broadcast and digital rights, the deal includes exclusive radio rights to the Grey Cup for TSN and TEAM Radio stations.

TSN had done great things for the league but I was kind of hoping CBC would step up and see if they could get one game a week or something. TSN is getting lazy in regards to their CFL production

Every week one team pays Wednesday and Sunday. Just like years ago when we had nine teams.

Good read on Jim Barker employing a 22 year old player personnel assistant in Chris Rossetti. Barker, rightly or wrongly isn't afraid to think outside the box and take chances.
