Hitmen fall 4-1 to Kelowna and had a rough weekend. I don't know of many teams that can overcome injuries at the junior level and that is what the Hitmen have been dealing with the last week or so.

Had the first 14 shots of the third and hit the crossbar three times in the third. They may lose this game but it isn't for a lack of effort. Just not getting the bounces tonight.
edit: 16-4 shots in third. Going to OT. The streak continues as regardless of outcome the Blazers still are undefeated in regulation this season through 16 games.

As great as the Blazers have played so far, there have been some interesting stats from Jon Keen. When a team is this good people expect them to be quite dominate but for the Blazers, during this streak, they have either been tied and had comebacks in 7 of the wins. They are getting the bounces and more importantly finding ways to win.
I believe I mentioned it before, the one aspect of the Blazers that I like, is that they are always on the attack, they do not sit back. It really keeps their opponents on their toes, almost afraid to make mistakes.

They're tired and fighting it a bit. These games will happen over a long season.
Hopefully they find a way to mine a point out of this one, with games Thurs and Fri again.
Taking way to many penalties.
edit: massive 5 on 3 kill to end the 2nd. That could end up being a turning point there.

16-0-1.
Into the 2nd quarter of the season, and JC Lipon has 40 points in 17 games. He has to be getting both NHL looks and a possible spot on Canada's WJC team this year.
Colin Smith has scored at least a point in every game this season.
Will be going to the game Thursday with Rockets fans, hopefully they have enough gas in the tank to get er done one more time.
