What planes are everyone using? I have several airvans and Mohawks. All two sweaters have been sent to the hanger. I have one kangaroo.
What is everyones thoughts on the m class of planes? I think they kind of suck as it is harder to get the 25% bonus.

I've got a fully upgrade Navigator been my biggest profit maker.
Another Navigator (not upgraded) still makes 1,300/hr usually.
1 Anan, 1 Airvan, 3 Mohawks, 1 kangaroo, and 1 birchcraft.
Of them all, the airvan is the biggest earner consistently. But I'm going to add LA soon, so I'm probably going to add another birchcraft.

It depends really. I thought the same but after purchasing Londonn a 10m city it paid off. More flights than I can even keep up with.

When do we start getting new planes besides the birchcraft? I'm almost done 11 and a new plane would be nice.

Got my bux this morning. I'm gonna open an airport near Brisbane and start using on my old planes to shuttle people there. Should be good enough for now. When I start making some real coin I might consider getting more planes out there though.

For the prize being awarded I'm going to skip this one.
Do you guys just randomly fly around filling up the planes or do you have set planes for set cities?

I got mine as well. Took a bit for them to arrive. I'm going to skip this one since the Calgary one ate up a couple days.

Nice work on getting top 10 everyone! The 50 Buxs is a nice prize. Anyone know which levels give different planes? I'm currently level 8, and can get the Mohawks and Kangaroos. I'm debating whether to spend my Buxs on planes now, or wait a higher level to get a better plane.

I've upgraded when I can. So if you still have 1 or 2 seaters look at replacing them. Avoid M class planes unless you have some bigger cities and keep in mind that having a plane with 4 seats is great but it is also harder to get the 25% bonus.

I'm really impressed at the surge we had in the event this afternoon. We jumped up real fast and now have a solid hold on 6th. Great work everyone.

Mazrim has my number, I purchased some bux. More because I think the developer does great work and they deserve some money for this great game!
I've joined up with my fellow Something Awful goons for the current challenge, the prize is the P-40 Warhawk and either 5 or 10 bux depending on how you finish. The big deal is planes like whe Warhawk are only available by winning them or by delivering mystery cargo.
I've gotten my first few jets, and am running almost exclusively class 2 aircraft at this point. I have 4 red cities (LAX, MEX, NYC, LHR) that I plan to use as my eventual hubs, at a certain level I'd like to run nothing but class 3 jumbos between major cities. Perhaps with the odd class 2's feeding the hubs.

Did you exchange them for coin?
I was debating on buying some bucks to get more coin. I wouldn't mind flying a bit further for large hubs. I have Paris and London and so far with Barcelona and Berlin as blue hubs. I got enough to buy two more red but not sure which direction I want to go.
Do you just close your smaller airports as you go?

I exchanged some for coin, this game definitely is pricier for stuff than Tiny Tower was.
I'm only opening up class 1 airports for the global events or to create air bridges for extra long flights. Right now I have an air bridge going from NYC-Goose Bay-Nuuk-Iceland-London. I'm making some killer money if I pick up passengers all the way over in Honolulu or LAX that need to end up over in London.
