Man, I'd love to see this guy caught and put in a less than welcoming prison. He's among the lowest of the low, and he's proud of it. Hopefully he gets caught alive.

LOL @ China. A travel waning/advisory has been made questioning the Safety of Canada for travel/study:

http://www.theglobeandmail.com/news/...rticle4227228/

I would almost guarantee you, they left out mention, one of their born and raised citizens, openly welcomed to our country, with open arms, did something equally heinous. I am sure they mentioned that. China would never suppress that kind of information. amirite?

Here's a link the pic of him going through airport security:
http://www.lapresse.ca/le-soleil/act...ie-a-paris.php

So much of the media coverage of this case drives me nuts:

"Porn Star Killer"....Porn yes, "star", no. Other than being hated for suspicion of killing cats and his own self made rumor of dating Homolka, this guy was relatively unknown before this.

The cannibalism label. The sicko cut dude up with a fork and knife, but there is never any indication whatsoever that he actually ate it.

Don't get me wrong at all. No sympathy for the killer. Just hate the media sensationalism.

I read a few articles today where various news agencies reported that Lin Jun had, a few months prior to his death, posted a pic of an empty subway car with the caption "Midnight Cannibalism Train" on his Weibo account, thus foreshadowing his death, but when you actually find his account and the pic, it says "Midnight Meat Train".

I dunno. Never been a huge fan of media sensationalism but this one just irks me for some reason.

I've noticed that the media has started calling him a porn actor rather than porn star. maybe they are listening to you!

I actually watched about 30 seconds of the video. I skipped through really quick. I've seen worse (beheading of a dude in Iraq). I'm not saying this wasn't horrific or anything. It certainly was.

I hope they catch this guy, or he's found dead. No jail sentence is long enough for him.

Perhaps a Chinese prison would be more appropriate for this monster.

Apparently the source of the report isn't always accurate. Praying that it is true though. Reports are he was caught in Berlin at an Internet cafe.

If true, looks like he didn't take his own "disappearing" advice. He left a swath of evidence across Paris. The dude just can't stay out of the limelight.

I hope the Germans make an example of him - because when he gets back to Canada, he'll probably get a slap on the wrists (kidding - I'm jabbing the Canadian justice system).

The idiot had his personal cell phone with him the whole time. Not the smartest move for someone trying to disappear. Glad to hear he is caught. Apparently he has confessed to German police that he is indeed Luka Magnotta.

I know the French did all the dectective legwork the last week or so, but I couldn't help but chuckle at the fact that it took the French six days to lose him, while it took the German authorities all of a couple hours to apprehend him.

Hurray for reliable German efficiency!

Awesome news. Now let's hope they don't find a body in France or Germany.

Probably checking up on his fame status and to see what people are saying about him.

I guess folks were right when they said he was stupid. I wasn't expecting him to be found for at least a couple of weeks, but he was leaving footprints everywhere he went.

I'm very glad he's been caught and I sincerely hope this is the end of it with no other surprises.

I'm really interested to hear how this arrest went down - he probably started spewing lies and verbal diarrhea. Hopefully having highly-trained and armed German police pointing guns in his face was a reality check for him.

EDIT: Looks like a civilian identified him on the street and notified authorities. After asking for identification, he was taken into custody by Berlin police.

Not the dramatic take down I was hoping for. At the very least he could have run, tripped on the sidewalk and damaged his valuable face.
