Stampede animals are more comparable to circus animals than they are domestic pets or slaughterhouse animals.
I haven't read the entire thread, but this does not happen anymore. Bucking is so bred into these animals, cinchs are not used in that manner anymore. These animals are bred to buck and will buck without any provocation.

Maybe we need to bring back medieval war horses. Those were giant horses, bred to carry hundreds of pounds of heavy armor and they towered over the battlefield.

Stampedes and rodeos are not the most humane thing but neither are bull fights or the entire animal slaughter industry that puts food on your table.

I personally don't get any enjoyment out of rodeos or chuckwagon races but to each his own.

The Bob Barker thing makes me think. "I want a ban on something that I've never seen and never studied and never bothered to visit, probably because somebody told him about the horrors and he did the Celebrity thing which is not to do his homework"
