Wait, that might be good entertainment for all of you!

(I do actually like my brother, and would rather have him protecting me than shooting on me)
You're just worried that I might get a puck stuck in your cage!!

LOL.

As we talked about nick, I will have all my gear there just in case, player and goalie. That would be fun to play against her. Besides, my pads look better.

Thanks for having me out Nick.

HAHA .. your pads are pretty sweet. I had my wife so pissed off about those when you bought them. She got to the box first when they were shipped and thought they were for me. She was livid!!!

No problem on having you out! All I ask is for you to remove the sig you have. Those guys were hosers and pulled the site from me after I built the following. Now they are a fully automated site that pulls deals via a computer program and so they had no need for me .. /endrant

Wait, I though pads weren't necessary? I was just going to invest in a helmet and a stick.

You can wear whatever you would like. As I said some guy ( cough cough Cp's favorite realtor I believe cough cough) was just in sweat pants last year with stick and helmet. I will be wearing full gear ( except shoulder pads) . I think a helmet a stick/gloves would be ok. I would prob bring shins too. I mean have you ever been hit in the bare shin with a puck... Vey... does that crap hurt....

playing against guys who don't wear gear is like playing against a child, you have to give them room and can't force the play in fear of injuring them. to each there own i guess.

Remember Nicker, head to the net and keep your stick on the ice... we'll see if we can get another one this year.

Can't wait!

I actually have a skating lesson right before our shinny from the lady I have bought the ice from the last 2 years. I can skate just never had any instruction. I have a really hard time on my edges and cross overs and such... especially with the right foot ( I have trouble with this leg and ankle ever since a horrible bout of sciatica) . However I will gladly take any tips I can get as well.

i don't mind giving pointers at all.

it really is all about edges, but the most important edge is the outside edge. once you can get that mastered, turning and accelerating becomes so much easier.

Yeah the outside edge part sucks.. I can use the outside edge on my left foot but not my right one.

What is Huntington Hills Policy on having a beer after the game in the room? Zero Toleranance? Or as long as you take it with you. Most Arenas are pretty good, so just curious.

Ok... 2 days until the big day. Just making sure everyone is still in. I have a small waiting list so let me know if you can't make it. I will PM the goalies just to confirm with them.
