LFR is sad, nothing but a bunch of ######s ignoring mechanics or simply not bothering to learn them. Everyone blames everyone else and the Queue's suck right now.

Pretty terrible expansion. I hate rep grinds. Doing dailies over and over again just to get extra shot at LFR loot was such a horrible idea. The rep grinds for the Valor gear sucks. Really reminds me of the Burning Crusade expansion and the grinds required to even get into heroics. I hated that expansion because of it. I only do LFR's (the odd heroic with guild) for tier loot and I've had horrible luck on drops. VP points seems useless. I haven't done the whole daily grind on all factions to get the VP gear. So i'm in a cycle where I get near max and then just upgrade a piece so I don't get to cap, and then rinse and repeat. I'm upgrading stuff I shouldn't even bother upgraded just to not max out VP.
I usually am able to max out a couple of characters before I cancel my account. No such luck this time around. Maxed my main and I think my monk is level 76 or there about. Checked out battle pets for awhile. Boring. Cancelled subscription last night.

Yeah, max level content has been pretty disappointing. I stuck around longer than I did for Cataclysm (I didn't even gear up for raids then), but in the end there wasn't enough to keep me going. Endless dailies were awful.

It is interesting to see how they changed a bunch of the lower level instances. Some of the bosses are totally new.
But it was still way too easy - 3 of us (Brewmaster Monk, Mistweaver Monk and a Mage) would go in to an instance as soon as it was available and be able to complete it. There were a few bosses where we would wipe a few times until we figured out the new mechanics, but the fact that we made it through with 3 at the lowest level possible is, I think pretty bad. Not much sense of achievement when it is that easy.
I cancelled my sub (for the first time since BC) on Wednesday.

I liked the raid content. This was the longest tier in quite some time for us. This next patch actually feels too soon. So few guilds have managed to kill everything.

BUMP!
I wanted to give the WoW MoP page a bump. Not because of anything new in the game (although there is tons), but because of a website I've come across that has helped me organize cross-server raids.
With the introduction of patch 5.2, Blizzard has now started allowing cross-server zones (CRZ) and raids. The only raids that can be cross-server are anything below the current tier (I believe is 15). So basically anything old.
I've been trying to collect the rest of my Shadowfrost Shards for Shadowmourne (legendary from WotLK), but it's sometimes hard to find a group on the server.
So that's when I found OpenRaid: http://openraid.us/
Long story short: you can sign-up and organize cross-server raids, BGs, quests, etc using the site. You sign-up, and the organizer gets your BATTLETAG (not your RealID) and then invites you.
This Friday will be the 5th week I've used the site, and it's been awesome. I have a ton of people on my BattleTag list now. When a raid ends you RATE each person (star system). This counts towards their rating on OpenRaid and determines if someone will invite you back or to future raids. So for that reason people are well behaved and follow direction. I haven't had any issues.
Each week I've had anywhere between 12 and 14 OpenRaid members, and the rest of the raid (25) filled with guild members.
So if you're looking to do some older content, organized BGs or whatever, I suggest you check it out.

No problem.
If anyone is interested in getting their meta done for "Glory of the Icecrown Raider 25" done, send me a PM.
Like I said above, I've been running a weekly 25 man ICC. We do all the bosses on Heroic, and we also get all the achievements done ( Full House, Once Bitten, etc).
The only one we don't do on heroic is " Been Waiting A Long Time For This." We do that one on normal mode. Even at level 90 people have issues dodging shadow traps on Lich King.
We won't be doing " Been Waiting A Long Time For This" this week, or next week. We want to give people a shot at getting Invincible Reins. The week after, which is May 10th, we'll do the achievement.
So if you're looking to get some transmog gear, get some achievement and run in an organized and fast group, send me a PM. I'll explain how to find my group on OpenRaid.
Cheers.

The biggest difference I noticed is the 'heads-up' effects that happen when your talents have proc'd. It's kinda scary the first few times it happens, which usually results in death.

The film adaptation of Blizzard Entertainment's Warcraft now has a confirmed theatrical release date. Fans can look forward to the film on December 18, 2015.

I think they are a good 10 years behind the curve on this one.
That is unless they do something really compelling with the franchise in the interim. Another expansion is not compelling.

Is anyone still playing? I'm looking for a raiding guild. I've downed Spoils on 10N. Main is a 565 ilvl Spriest ~190k dps. Working on a Pally tank alt, currently 510 ilvl.

Our guild build 10m normal Garrosh just before the new year and then everyone splitt. Half of us are going to start playing Wildstar next week.

Un-subbed right now and waiting for WoD. Who the hell knows how long it's going to be though, considering they haven't even announced the beta yet.

I resubbed not too long ago, but I've only been leveling alts so far. I have no urge at all to do the last couple raids I missed in Pandaria.
