Love your debate about ferrari's, but why are you focused on 0-60 and 1/4 mile. The 308 was all sports car, but rode on 14" balloon tires and can't hold a candle to any ferrari in the last 15 years. The 288GTO, my favorite of all time, was the predesesor to the F40, F50, and now Enzo. Even the basest model Ferrari in this years line up could kick it's ass in every category that defines a sports car.
Heck the Camaro's of that day were huffing and puffing for a mind boggling 135 or so hp's, but todays has 422. times change but they are all still very much sports cars.

I've been planning on reupholstering my truck for a while... one of my customers does upholstery so we're having some fun!
he fired me over a pic of my "new seats" (i bought these used from a wreckers - they are out of a '94 chev... mine truck is an '89)
the chevy bowtie is this really cool material i have called prisma - it changes shade/colour depending on the angle you look at it. the material i used for my seats goes from light gray to almost a charcoal - it looks pretty cool.
i'm not quite sure when we'll be doing the interior of the truck, but i'll be sure to post some before/after pics once it's done!

This summer I had my shop recover the seats and door panels for my BIL's truck. This isn't typically what we do (usually we make oil rig covers, truck tarps, boat covers, etc.) but I think they turned out well for a quick job using scrap material and scrap chunks of foam we had laying around.
I think dedicated upholstery shops have heat guns or something to shrink the vinyl to remove the wrinkles, but this isn't really our forte so for just a lady and a sewing machine they look decent.

You can lay them out in the hot sun for an hour or so before installing them. A heat gun would melt the material to easy. Wrinkles are hard unless the foam and material are precisely fit. Using thin slices of foam to 'shim' in some of those areas can sometimes get rid of minor wrinkles.

At the annual international delorean owners event in houston texas, Delorean Motor Company (DMC) presented a prototype electric model of the iconic vehicle, called the DMCEV and planned for commercial production in 2013. The company is collaborating with electric vehicle manufacturers epic EV to realize the project.
In the Dolorean, a DC-type electric motor with front-weighted battery achieves 0-60mph (0-100km/hr) in 4.9 seconds, with an alleged top speed of 125 mph (201 km/hr). DMC plans to offset the extra weight of the electric systemby manufacturing the vehicle's underbody with a lightweight resin-infused composite.
Rumors estimate the price of the car at 90,000 to 100,000 USD.
