The only candidate who has a shot at taking out Mason is the WR candidate. Unique guy, working his butt off right now, but needs $$$.

Calgary businesses who want Mason gone should be donating to the WR and directing it to Highlands Norwood.

Someone may be the new leader of Alberta tonight and the only people who can decide who it will be are ones who PAID for a membership. It's like paying to vote. I completely disagree with this entire premise. There should be a General Election, not just an appointment of the new Party leader to the existing post.

Just because the system doesn't work the way you want does not mean it is not a democracy.

The system is designed such that you vote for the party, not the individual in a general election. The premier is, by definition, the leader of the party with the most seats.
