She wasn't a random woman. She's the niece of a senior HA member so I would say she was born into the life.
Still very tragic though regardless of who she is

Hadden-Watts, 21, is the niece of a prominent B.C. member of the Hells Angels, but not the member who was in the car.

Just hours before the shooting, the group of five who were later shot were seen on Okanagan Lake in a powerboat named Steroids & Silicone.

Despite past killings of gang-related women, others who have been drawn to the lifestyle don't seem to be getting the message, said Sgt. Shinder Kirk of the Lower Mainland gang task force.

"The paradigm has shifted," said Kirk. "[Women] are no longer off-limits. They're now potential targets."

It's pretty sad.

That said, what are the odds the senior HA's dude blames the people she was with long before ever considering himself?

I know if I was a gangster, and started introducing my niece to gangsters and she got shot and paralyzed by the age of 20 something I'd think my influence ruined her life.

Edited to add
My god, what a terrible news story (quality wise), the girl is paralyzed, here is a comment on twitter "OMG, BBQ11!!LOLZ you poor thing, LYFE NOT FAIR" . . . . "BABE"

"You shouldn't judge him," she said. "What you do on your own time, in your hobby, just because you belong to a club — a bike club, a car club chess club . … He should be treated just like everyone else."
People do get judged by what clubs they belong to. All the time. If I meet a member of a MENSA, I think it's fair to judge him or her as a person of above average intelligence. If I run in to someone from the Rotary Club, I think it's alright to assume I just met someone interested in community service. If I come across a full-fledged member of an organized crime gang or an outlaw motorcycle club, I think it's perfectly fine to lump him in with the rest of the low lifes in that group.

Judging him by his membership in the HA is treating him like everyone else.

The thumbs down comments are hilarious. Apparently an oil company executive is comparable to a full patch HA member.

"What you lookin' at? You all a bunch of f****n' a**holes. You know why? You don't have the guts to be what you wanna be? You need people like me. You need people like me so you can point your f***n' fingers and say, "That's the bad guy." So... what that make you? Good? You're not good. You just know how to hide, how to lie. Me, I don't have that problem. Me, I always tell the truth. Even when I lie. So say good night to the bad guy! Come on. The last time you gonna see a bad guy like this again, let me tell you. Come on. Make way for the bad guy. There's a bad guy comin' through! Better get outta his way! "

LOL I know it sounds bad, but the woman "Jasmine Wong" who is standing up for the HA in that article I am just picturing as a high-end she-devil who poses for Import Tuner and has silicone breasts 5 sizes much too large for a normal Asian woman. And goes to the Living Room or Opus on 8th on a Friday night....

I've always thought "Surrey Shore" could make a great show.

Spanish banks would be a show about Asian families having amazing smelling BBQ's on the beach, and a bunch of people playing beach volleyball.
