If you wait you get the game for much cheaper.

True that, and I do. But then when buying older games, I'm usually weighting single-player more than multi-player.

I got BC2 used and had no problem with leveling up. I don't like the system, but it didn't take long before I unlocked the better guns.

Levelling was super easy in that game when you played on hardcore mode because a lot of times you could kill guys in a single shot with the sabot round shotgun which worked like a sniper rifle - only that you didn't have to zoom in, it fired faster, and it was more accurate!
It was like a built in hack that I loved.

I'm not sure if it was patched to nerf it but it worked for a year after the game was released. The sabot rounds in the pump action shotgun shot farther and was more accurate than sniper rifles.

While this is a great trailer for creating excitement for the game, I have to wonder how great that moment in the game would have been if you didn't already know about it from preview footage.

Looks pretty sweet so far, still needs some work on minor details like the ammo actually moving on the LMG when he picks it up.
As long as it isnt stupidly overdone like COD i think it should be sweet.
Ive been playing the Black Op's single player.... holy crap is it stupid and wayyy too Hollywood for my liking, explosions everywhere=stupid.
EA is making a strong case for themselves.

Yeah it is. Apparently they didn't enjoy BFBC2 selling eleventy billion copies on Steam, mostly at $10 and below?

With EA's new Origin service it makes sense that it won't be on Steam. They'll want people to use their service only.
I can't say I'm disappointed as I will be getting the console version anyway.
Has anyone tried Origin yet?

Guess I'll be boycotting this one. At least until it's $7.

The first few previews made it look waaaaaay better than COD, but that gameplay footage really didn't look very amazing.
Looks like I'll be able to use the good ol' standby AK-74u though!

Looks like an updated version of BFBC2, which is exactly what I'm expecting and want.
