The Razzies last night thought M. Night Shyamalan's The Last Airbender was pretty bad. Did anyone see that movie?

Quote:
Shyamalan's fantasy adventure movie dominated with five wins — or losses, depending on your point of view. It easily slaughtered Sex and the City 2 with three Razzies, Valentine's Day with two, plus Little Fockers and The Twilight Saga: Eclipse with one each.

The Talented Mr Ripley. That is 2 hours of my life that I will never get back.

Close second for just plain stupidity is Grizzly Man.

Any time I read an internet forum I assume there an "in your opinion" attached to it...

It was a big disappointment especially because the cartoon series
was really good. Do yourself a favour and watch the cartoon.

Just for the record, I have never actually seen Plan 9 From Outer Space. It's just that any film course I have ever taken has always made a big deal about it being critically panned as the worst film of all time. From what I understand, it was really just one person's opinion. Of course, once that opinion came out everyone had to see it and it developed a cult following. It's so bad that it is good.

I have two roommates who constantly watch movies, and they are almost always terrible. Sometimes because I have nothing to do I'll try and watch the ones they pick. Here is a short list of movies I've seen in the last few weeks that where amazingly bad.

I haven't read 10,000 BC anywhere on this thread. That was hands down the worst movie I've ever seen in my life. And I've seen some pretty bad ones!

Agreed. Fargo is a classic in my books and one of favourites.

So far only two Nicholas Cage movies. Interesting...

I agree with Wicker Man - it was painful to watch. I guess I can't qualify it as the worst movie he's made since I managed to watch to the end, which really made it worthwhile. THe scene where he's burned alive in a bear suit is possibly the best he's ever done. "Aaaauggghhh you broke my leg. Noooooo, not the bees! Aaaauggghhh!"

His worst (and what I think is the worst movie I've ever seen) is 8mm. Terrible script, terrible acting, boring, unclear point. Ugh. I watched it because someone recommended it as the worst movie they'd seen, boy was she right.

How can a guy who makes gold like Lord of War or Leaving Las Vegas spew out piles of feces like he does? Doesn't he read his scripts?

How can you have Eurotrip as the worst movie, that movie's hilarious.

When 5 of your houses go into foreclosure you take what work you can get.

I don't think it's the worst movie ever, but I couldn't finish Crank. I'm a big Jason Statham fan but it was brutal.

I saw the Green Zone in theatres, me and my friend were the only people in it at 4:30 on a Saturday

Forgot about Crank. Definately close to worst ever.

As pointed out by another poster, Leaving Las Vegas was critically acclaimed. Lord of War was also good.

As was the Rock, but that's just a guilty pleasure of mine.

Disagree.

He has some stinkers for sure but also some fantastic films as well:

Leaving Las Vegas, God of War, Bringing Out the Dead, Adaptation, and Rasing Arizona.

He also has some decent mindliess action films too:

Kick Ass, Face Off, the Rock, and Con Air.

I think the problem with Nick Cage is that he puts out so many movies. He seems to star in 3-4 a year. Many of these are crap. It's like he will star in every script that passes his way. It's absolutely stunning that Cage has financial problems given how much he must be making off his movies. I guess that's what happens when you like to buy yourself 20 million dollar homes, castles, and private islands.

Slight correction blankall, you meant Lord of War.

God of War would look like this:

I really liked both Crank movies, they were just violent fun fests and had some nice continuation in the sequel.

Could have done without the horse #### in slow motion scene though.
