Elliott looked awful on the GWG. Way too deep in his net.
Also, the offside challenge on the tying goal didn't even look close. With the new rule on the challenge, I can't understand how the Flyers thought it was a good idea in a tie game. Sure, if the goal had given Nashville the lead that late, you maybe make a Hail-Mary attempt and hope you win the challenge, but with it just being a tie, that review cost them a point.

Attendance in Carolina tonight was 7,892 after a sell out in the home opener. That's a joke for the best hockey league in the world. Move them already

Wow Arizona is horrible. I guess Mike Smith was the only thing keeping them from tire fire territory.
It's nice to see Vegas off to a hot start but I'm sure they will go on a long losing streak once the early season adrenaline wares off and they play higher quality teams. If Neal and Fleury keep playing like super stars though they will at least be competitive.

They were probably giving tickets away hand over fist so they could say they “sold out” their home opener.

Also think Smith has looked a handful every time he was on the ice

Awful decision by the Flyers to challenge for offside on the game-tying goal
Elliott playing small as usual

That was the most boring OT I have seen in a long time. So glad the Flames are good in OT. Nice shot there by Granlund.

And John Garrett responds by selecting Canucks as the #1 and #3 stars along with goalless and pointless former Canucks player Alex Burrows in a losing cause. That'll show 'em, John.

Shame that Ari got a junk goal in garbage time. Engelland would’ve had the very fitting gwg otherwise.
