Watching All or Nothing shows how much Arteta is the right manager for the club right now.

Fred and Eriksen (at this point of his career) as your only two true midfielders is a choice…especially with they way Martinez and McGuire played behind them.
Honestly Fred, Eriksen, and McTominay is not a top table premier league quality midfield at this point. Maybe as depth, but if you’re starting 2 or 3 of them each week then you’re at best a mid table team.

Yeah, he's definitely coming off looking really good after these episodes and the current team's form/optimism.

He won’t be looking so good when they show him blowing the run in which he was nailed on to do.

Things look good and of course they do because they have the easiest start possible. They might be top of the table after the next few weeks, but that doesn't mean that's where they're ending up. We were 3-0 under Nuno last year and obviously things went south from there.
I'm a little surprised that you think he's coming off well in All or Nothing though. I think he comes off as out of his depth and the players look disengaged in his talks. Maybe it's the editing? The show has a knack for making you think that the team in focus really could do something, even though we know the outcome ahead of time.

that is still a very generous assessment. I like Eriksen a lot and think he'll bring something to the table, but like I said last week, still having to play Fred/McTominay is criminal. I can't think of a worse midfield in the whole league, they get run over every single week by every other team.

Isn't a piece of the issue the idea of playing Eriksen and Bruno together though? They're so similar and defensively suspect. Combine that to have a Fred/Eriksen/Bruno midfield and you're asking for trouble.

Lisandro Martinez back there really shored up ol' 'Arry's solid defensive acumen too.
Worth it?

Is that the guy who's basically my height playing against 6'2" strikers? Great decision.
Spurs equalize in the last minute to scrape away with a draw. Tuchel is a complete ass and we probably saw Chelsea's best game of the season today.

True but now most will feel the short term pain of not having Auba last season was justifiable.
It's not like finishing last season without any real strikers was a plan, the situation was forced on them by Auba's actions and they had to make hard decisions.

Yeah it looked like ichobod wouldnt let Conte go there at the end, surprised Conte got s red too. Entertaining game as a neutral tho... gotta sting for chelsea spending 250 mil in the summer and dropping points like that while losing kante. I think its a major drop in quality from him to gallagher, will be interesting to see if they go harder after de jong now.
I dunno after watching them and liverpool early on I hope it's more competitive than I expect but hard time seeing either of them challenging city.

Two crossbars, and the penalty was soft. Plus a ball cap.

That'd be him. What I really liked was that on 2 of Brentford's goals Maguire wasnt even in his own half.
What happened with Chelsea? I didnt see it. Were there scenes?

I've never seen such a short centre back, it's crazy.
And wow, you're short Slava!

Haha, I'm 5'8" and not a tactical guru, but to put me against a guy 6'2" to defend headers would be a mistake for a lot of reasons. Apparently, ETH didn't realize that though.
