Expect that to be the Liberal campaign until the election.

I hope we get an election sooner, we're just wasting time now.

Don't think we'll see an early election. The Libs want to give PP time to destroy himself. The NDP need time to divest their brand from the Libs and paint themselves as the better choice than the PCs. The Bloc are probably fine watching everyone make fools of themselves because it makes them the only choice in Quebec. The Greens, who should be making inroads, are too busy screwing with themselves.

The problem with that argument is that the Liberals refuse to admit to the issues at hand. If they would, they could spend the next year clawing back support, because its rather obvious people don't exactly gravitate towards the CPs and PP.

So while the Liberals and specifically Trudeau are going to insist on being tone deaf to what Canadians have an issue with, I don't see how they get anymore support.

The NDP will likely benefit from another year to the election, but they didn't exactly steal much Liberal support yesterday. Not sure how they look at the results as anything other than 'whew we survived.'

Don't be so sure.

You probably won't see an election because NDP fundraising has been poor, and the Libs I think are bringing in a third of the dollars that the Conservatives are bringing in.

The Libs won't want an election, because if they can't bring in a new leader they're going to get destroyed, and I'm not convinced that they have a leader in the ranks that has the respect of the Canadian Voters.

Singh has written himself and his party into a corner. While they won their stronghold in Winnipeg, it was a tight race, and the Liberal voters looked to have gone to the Conservatives.

If the government is going to fall it will be because of tremendous pressure and dropping poll numbers for the NDP at the spring budget.

Say what you want about the NDP and their policies, irrelevance etc, but Jagmeet is the kind of man you can have respect for. Glad he confronted those cowards who were too scared to speak their piece to his face. I'm sure they are real tough on the internet. Pathetic little bitches.

That was satisfying to watch. I'm not an NDP voter but these idiot trolls that go at politicians like this need to be put in their place.

It'll be tough for the NDP to distance themselves from the Liberals.

The conservatives will keep calling confidence votes, and if the NDP don't support the government it'll fall.

Conservative MP Micheal Cooper has been palling around with them, lending legitimacy and support with the CPC name. PP needs to put a stop to this if he wants to show Canadians he has an ounce of respectability.

Quote:
Another photo posted on social media shows Cooper with a far-right livestreamer named Christine Cameron, who tweeted: “MP Conservative Michael Cooper came to our Truck Yeah birthday party.”

Livestreamed videos from the event shows members of the far-right group seemingly starstruck by the appearance of a Conservative MP at their after-party.
Quote:
“You guys got to come out swinging, these guys are corrupt, these guys are traitors,” one group member named Derek Noonan is heard shouting through a megaphone.
Quote:
Sebastian Skamski, spokesperson for Conservative leader Pierre Poilievre, did not respond to questions from PressProgress about Cooper’s appearance at the Red Pepper or the conduct of the group Cooper associated himself with.

The common denomination with all these types is fear.
They are just plain afraid of everything. Of course, they all suffer from fragile egos and low self-esteem, so they act tough and abrasive, but they are scared.

Sad, really.

Thr Bloc will vote to topple the government. They're on pace to make huge electoral gains. An election now is great for them and the CPC, so both parties want one.

The NDP is trickier. The Liberals are deeply unpopular and so the NDP is trying to distance themselves as much as possible. But they don't want to have an election right now either, because their deal with the Liberals is fresh in everyone's mind. However, unless they keep supporting the government it will fall.

Its really interesting.

For starters, I dont condone abuse of Political Officials with the current sole exception of Danielle Smith. I'd play the bagpipes at her funeral and I've never played the bagpipes in my life. It'd be an experience. For everyone.

That being said...what is Singh doing? Someone muttered something behind him, he didnt see who said it and he wants to create a confrontation?

Why?

I dont think 'Corrupted Bastard' is accurate, but Singh did make a Faustian Bargain in order to try and get something and, lets be honest, 'caring about Canadians?'

He cares about trying to save his cushy gig. Period. If some Canadians happen to benefit in the interim I'm sure he couldn't care less.
