"I know not with what weapons WWIII will be fought, but World War IV will be fought with sticks and stones," Einstein once said. And here we are: a Ukrainian UAV downed a Russian drone by poking it with a stick from above. https://twitter.com/user/status/1805195454298124359
I read that these ATACMS missiles also killed civilians on a beach, including 2 children. Saw a terrifying video of the missiles raining down on those poor people.

It wasn't the Ukrainian missiles that killed the civilians, it was the Russian counter measures... And maybe they shouldn't have been on the beach in a war zone.

And the Russian government is encouraging citizens to travel to Crimea, this fits their goals perfectly. Sacrifice innocent civilians to try to gain a little international sympathy, the only thing they're probably upset with is that more didn't die

who would give them sympathy?

Technically wasn't it bomblets from intercepted ATACMS that caused the deaths? Your last point stands, regardless.
North Korea to send combat troops to Ukraine within a month. Wild.
Not true, and also in my opinion very unlikely to happen, because there's not enough in it for them.
Basically no one fights a war except for either land claims (not available), the right to pick a government of your liking (not available for NK in Ukraine), or to support your own colonial efforts (also nor available for NK in Ukraine).
The Ukrainian Armed Forces knocked out Russian troops in many positions east of Ternovo and Yampolovka, taking control of an area up to 4.2 km wide and 1.32 km deep https://twitter.com/user/status/1806200905911369900

Unless Putin is willing to give Vladivostok to NK in exchange for troops, I don't see this happening.
Article says that NK is sending an engineering unit, so not entirely untrue. Also, nations have historically fought for money/economic benefits as well, where this war would slot in for NK.
Russia had a pretty low birth rate before the war. Their population was going to be in freefall in the next 80 years without going to war. Putin even saw the writing on the wall and "campaigned" on spending billions to help raise birth rates back in 2018. What a stupid ####ing idea this war was for the people of Russia.
They're going to have to rely on massive immigration to keep the country functioning by 2100.

It also makes no sense for Russia as it would for sure open the flood gates for South Korean military assistance. Extra North Korean troops probably wouldn't move the needle a whole lot either
Perhaps NK is getting discounted resources for military support? The Russian far east is a vast, expansive, resource-rich area. Russia already uses NK laborers for milling, mining, etc.

Sorry I guess we read that article differently.
It was all speculation in the article, nowhere was it confirmed by a reliable source.

However, for now, that is all these reports are — rumors.
As Russia and North Korea ramp up military cooperation, the possibility of DPRK troops joining the war cannot be ruled out. Back in 2022, the two sides even discussed the possibility of North Korea sending workers to Russia-controlled areas of eastern Ukraine to help rebuild after the war.
But so far, North Korea has not officially announced plans to dispatch engineers or other military personnel to support Moscow’s war efforts.
Also, Frankly I'm not sure the NK troops are an upgrade.
Also, I can't see NK sending the top troops, that would leave the NK vulnerable at home.
