Ahh. Guess I could have just Googled. That looks irritating though to less with normal headphones as you now need two extra things - your 3.5 mm adapter into the splitter. Somebody ought to make one that integrates the splitter with a charger and a 3.5 mm adapter as one unit, and I bet it'd sell.
Agreed. I wasn't kind of surprised Belkin didn't go that route, but my guess is they'll be all over the place within weeks of the phone coming out.
If Apple were crafty, they'd sell all of their headphones as lightning only, and include a lighting to 3.5mm adapter, so you had to use that on other devices. It would make people think, ugh, I need to use this other adapter if I want to use my sweet headphones with anything other than an iPhone. I'm never buying something without lightning again!
Was going to upgrade my iPhone 6 to the 7, but it's $400 on a 2 year plan for the iPhone with the lowest storage space. This is insane. Pretty sure I paid $275 for my iPhone 6 the day it was released on a 2 year plan.
We were also paying at that time $60 for new release video games that are now $80. Crappy dollar really hits the wallet when it comes to consumer goods.
Anyone know of any compatibility between AppleTV 4 & AirPods?
The EarPods are in essence bluetooth ear buds that communicate with a chip to eliminate most of the negatives of bluetooth. They will work with an Apple TV the way any bluetooth earbuds will, but they won't do anything cooler than that.

Yes, the box has a battery that holds 5 charges (24 hours total). I enjoy my mpow buds from Amazon, but battery is a big annoyance.
I actually think they'll be a big product for Apple. The early hands-on impressions were quite positive. I really like that you can pop one in and the audio is sent to you in mono, but if you add the second it gets split into stereo. It'd also be nice to have a phone + mac setup and have the audio arrive regardless of what device is making the noise.

After holding on to my rapidly declining 5S, I have had to order the 7. I have ordered my first pair of bluetooth headphones for jogging, so I am almost glad to have to try them out. The only thing I am worried about is connecting my phone to someone else's speaker to play music, but then I realized most of my friend's speakers have been bluetooth.
I plan on buying a few spare cables in a month or two, as I did from the step up to the lightning connection. A couple extra Lightning to AUX, a lightning to USB
iOS 10 is out, but might want to hold off on updating as lots of people are reporting it bricking their devices and having to connect to a PC and restore from a backup or even do a clean install to get going again.

Yup! Happened to me.
Tried to upgrade, something when wrong and told me to plug it into my computer/itunes. When I do, it fails and get an error when I click update or restore. Don't know what else I can do right now. So frustrating

Me too. Right now iTunes is downloading the update, we will see what happens
Update:
Have to restore but then it is downloading again. Time will tell
