Ok Alaska ... I'm willing to forgive you for Sarah Palin in exchange for safe travels of my little buddy. I don't want to hear any stories of it getting shot from a helicopter, run over by a skidoo or it having sex with Bristol.

What about being clubbed by a baby seal?

I just bought this application a few minutes ago, Not the cheapest app at 9.99, but it seems really cool.

If Anyone wishes I can make a video showing the screen delay and what not, if the other you tube videos do not do justice. Let me know.

Okay. Will get that done tomorrow, about to pass out.

Initial impressions: The "lag" is noticeable, dragging apps to it and back etc. But dragging iTunes over and using the touch screen to select the song is a pretty cool....gimmick

Hopefully post a video tomorrow assuming time permits! (will show video, dragging apps, etc)

I bet it would be pretty cool for iPhone/iPad app development. You could drag the iPad emulator window over to the iPad and interact with it using the touch screen. Not only would it serve the purpose of giving you more real estate on your main screen, but also a better way to debug.

I can't see how it would be able to emulate the finger gestures. Clicking links/buttons seems reasonable but I don't see how multiple finger gestures would work since they don't in the emulator software (it's done with mouse drags and the keyboard).

Fine, I'll buy it...

Update: It's pretty cool. There is some lag so I can't see using the iPad for too much development stuff. iTunes is great. Movies are choppy though. I could see using it as I do two monitors at work. Email on one screen, work on the other.

The touch screen moves the cursor to "select" something on the screen. As you would by holding down the mouse button. Using the emulator isn't great.

I don't like that I can't choose which side to leave the screen with the window I'm dragging. I have my iPad on the left hand side of my monitor but I have to drag the programs off the screen to the right.

At this point I expect to be receiving it shortly. Who wouldn't want to get the hell out of Mississauga?

You speak of your iPad as if it's an actual living entity.

Dude... you're crossing into fanbourism of extreme levels.

Oh, I thought I had seen something about recognizing multitouch gestures and translating them to your desktop. Maybe it's not as great for app development as I had imagined it.

Mrs. Russic! There's something you need to see on the internet about your husband!

Someone needs to develop a fleshlight peripheral that hooks up to the iPhone OS.

Its just a fuel stop - cargo jets cant make it non stop from China. Most likely to drop off the empty horse enclosures as well

You can choose which side to leave the screen on. system preferences on your mac, displays. Then drag the ipad display to the other side of your primary display.

For anybody looking for a way to avoid lineups tomorrow (and feels like taking a little risk), there are unconfirmed reports that London Drugs may be carrying them.

Interesting. Wouldn't be surprising since they carry Apple and like to display their products front and centre in the computers area.

I'm kind of looking forward to seeing how long the lineups will be tomorrow morning. I work in a mall with an Apple Store and will pass right by it..
