I've got 100 bucks and four cases of beer riding on this game ... don't let me down Pack!
On a side note, a friend of mine will be at the game, he paid more for the two tickets(50 yard line, about 15 rows up or so he says) than I've paid for two different cars.

Bryant Gumble and Chris Collingsworth are BY FAR the worst freaking commentators on the face of this earth!
I mean seriously, after Dallas's FIRST offenseive play they spew out "Wow, Al Harris on TO, we've seen those two locked up all night."

Romo just broke the record for 16 straight games with TD passes, and 30TD passes in a season ties the record!!!
THE REAL DEAL!

Great play call by Green Bay offense, I think they need to start giving Grant a few more looks like that.

Bryant Gumble is unbelievably bad. At times it sounds as though he wishes he was doing anything other than watching football.
Collinsworth has been good in the past and is good in studio on NBC so I think that it is just Gumble bringing him down with his suckiness.

Man...its been so long since the Packers have been down by alot that I forgot how ######ed Brett Favre becomes when his team is losing by a couple scores: just chucks bombs, doesnt even look where he's throwin em either. What was that, two consecutive 50 yard bombs to Driver in double coverage when he had a wide open man on both? Brett Favre's strategy when his team is losing is the same as a 10-year old's when playing Madden. The guy has no patience.
On a positive note for the Packers, it looks like there may be Life After Favre after all...

How bout dem Cowboys? Come on Johnny, we know you want to say something!
I think Dallas has made it pretty clear that they are the best in the NFC. With an 11-1 record at this point in time they've all but won their division and certainy assured themselves of a first round bye. They have been an impressive group so far. They even gave the Pats a game for a bit. Aaron Rodgers did look decent for the Packers. No doubt the pieces around him are much better now and he'll benefit huge from it. I guess question is with 10 days between games....Is Farves streak over?

I think the Cowboys were really able to take advantage of the fact that Charles Woodson wasn't playing, but still full credit for them. The way Harris was being beaten all day, Im not sure the presence of Woodson wouldve turned things around much anyways. No question after this one that the Cowboys are the team to beat in the NFC, and the road to the Super Bowl is gonna go through Texas Stadium.

The packers D couldn't stop a beach ball from going in a toilet bowl...that was the difference. Al Harris looked awful and the pack would have been all but buried if TO didn't lateral that interception to him.

Ahhhh it was so sweet and it offered up the perfect alternative to watching another dreadfully boring Flames/NHL game. Frankly the only thing that stopped the Cowboys offense was themselves. Otherwise I think they would have scored everytime they had the ball. I was a little dissapointed in the defense which I thought was playing too conservatively. But that's a very nice gap between them and the Giants and home field advantage is sweet as well.

Favre's team sucked - he played awesome.
Seriously though, Rodgers looked ok although it looked like Dallas figured they had it in the bag when Favre went out and let up at bit mentally(something NE would have been ulikely to do!).

I agree, the Dallas defense got sloppy with pursuit and tackles the second Rodgers took over. However at that point I also think key players on defense were banged up and tired (Burnett, Henry, Newman, etc). Once Romo took the boys on a long drive on offense (Albeit a a pick in the end zone as a result of a TO misfortune) the defense had a good 15 minutes to rest up and they took it to the Packers the rest of the game. Rodgers got pressure from the d-line, good pass rushing.

I would still rank the Pats and Colts ahead of DAL. They should win the NFC Championship with no difficulty.

What if the Pats left Chris Hanson inactive for the Jets game and played without a punter? Wouldn't that be the ultimate slap in the face? Know this going in, Mangini ... we're not punting. Can you think of a better psychological ploy? It's one thing to go 19-0; it's another thing to be the team that intentionally scratched their punter before a game for the first-ever Eff You Transaction. Now I know what I want for Christmas.)

I wouldn't rank the Colts ahead of Dallas and in the 2nd half the Cowboys were ahead of New England before they crapped out. They are better defensively since then and Philly showed New England isn't unbeatable.
Colts need some of their injury list to return before they are number two IMO.

Now THAT would be cool to see.

They did? I must have missed that game...
The Pats still won that game and looked HORRIBLE for most of the 60 minutes. So teams DAL/IND/PHI can keep it close but keeping it clsoe won't win you a Super Bowl.
